Full Node · Setup guide
MikroTik is the gold-standard router for EZLINK because it has a built-in 'hotspot' feature with a walled garden. We'll paste a small script into your router so it talks to EZLINK.
Sign in, accept the short Host Agreement, and we'll generate your Node ID + Token (and the installer, if there is one) on the spot.
Click Get my setup script below, sign in, accept the agreement. We'll generate a script with your Node ID already baked in.
WinBox is the free tool for managing MikroTik routers. Download it from mikrotik.com if you don't have it. Open it, type the router's IP (usually 192.168.88.1), your username (usually 'admin'), and your password, and click Connect.
In the left sidebar of WinBox, click New Terminal. A black command window opens — this is where the script goes.
Copy the EZLINK setup script from the box below. In the Terminal window, right-click → Paste. Press Enter. You'll see lines fly by — that's normal. When it stops, the prompt comes back.
Tip: If you see 'failure: already have' messages, ignore them — that means the hotspot was already partly configured, and the script skipped those bits.
Come back to this website. Within about a minute, your MikroTik node should appear as 'online' in your Owner dashboard.
Node never appears online
Re-run the script. Check that the router can reach the internet (try /tool fetch url=https://ezlinkapp.net in the terminal).
Captive portal doesn't appear on test phone
Turn the phone's Wi-Fi off and on. If still nothing, double-check the hotspot is on the right interface (usually wlan1).
