Become a Node
Pick the device you want to run an EZLINK node on. Each option installs a different kind of agent — desktop app, phone app, or router script — but they all connect to the same EZLINK network so paying roamers can use your Wi-Fi anywhere.

No surprises. Here's exactly what happens after you click Download.
1. Save the file, then open it
Your browser will download a .zip (Windows) or a .dmg (Mac). Unzip and double-click the installer.
2. Windows or Mac will ask permission
You'll see a security prompt: 'Do you want this app to make changes?' — click Yes. The agent needs it to create the guest hotspot. This is normal.
3. The agent creates the guest Wi-Fi
You may see a window flash briefly — that's the agent elevating. It takes ~30 seconds. Then a tray icon appears.
4. Pair it with your EZLINK account
Click the tray icon, sign in, and pick which host you're setting up. Guests can connect right after.

Most consumer routers can broadcast Wi-Fi, but their stock software cannot show the EZLINK sign-in page or measure how much data a guest uses. You have three options:

What it does: OpenWRT replaces your router's built-in software with a fully open-source operating system. That lets the router run the EZLINK captive portal (the sign-in page guests see) and report each guest's data usage back to EZLINK, so you can be paid for the traffic you share.
Who should use this: IT technicians, network engineers, or hobbyists who are comfortable flashing firmware, logging in with SSH, and configuring a router by hand. If you have never heard of OpenWRT or do not know your router model, the laptop agent or Node Kit is a safer choice.
Important: Only flash OpenWRT if your exact router model appears on the OpenWRT compatibility list. Flashing the wrong firmware can lock you out of the router.
iOS does not allow apps to run continuous background services, control the personal hotspot, or route guest traffic through a captive portal. Because of these platform limits, an EZLINK host agent cannot run on an iPhone.
Good news: iPhone users can still join as a host with an EZLINK Node Kit, a MikroTik / UniFi router, or any supported device above. You manage everything from this dashboard on your iPhone once the node is running.
