Lab Mode · Setup guide
We're going to install a small app on your Windows laptop that turns your laptop into an EZLINK node. Paying roamers near you will be able to use your Wi-Fi, and you get paid.
Sign in, accept the short Host Agreement, and we'll generate your Node ID + Token (and the installer, if there is one) on the spot.
Click the green Get installer & credentials button below. If you're not signed in, we'll take you to the sign-in page first. After signing in, tick the agreement checkbox and click Accept.
Tip: The agreement is one short page, in plain English. It just says you're allowed to share this internet connection and that we'll pay you fairly.
After you accept, a Download installer button appears. Click it. A file called EZLINK-Agent-win32-x64.zip will save to your Downloads folder.
Tip: If the download doesn't start, click the small 'Download not starting? Use direct link' line and copy the address into your browser.
Click the folder icon in your taskbar (bottom of the screen) → click Downloads on the left side. You should see EZLINK-Agent-win32-x64.zip.
Right-click the .zip file → choose Extract All… → click Extract. Windows will create a new folder with the same name.
Double-click the new folder, then double-click EZLINK-Agent.exe. The first time, Windows may say 'Windows protected your PC' — click More info → Run anyway. This is normal for new apps.
Tip: We're working on a signed installer that won't show this warning. For now, it's safe to click Run anyway.
The agent window opens. You'll see two empty boxes: Node ID and Node Token. Come back to this page, click the copy button next to each one, and paste them into the agent.
In the agent window, click Save. Then click Run Self-Test. The agent will check that everything works — internet, hotspot, metering — and show a green tick when ready.
'Windows protected your PC' won't go away
Click More info, then Run anyway. The app is unsigned today but safe — we publish the source.
Self-test says 'Cannot start hotspot'
On Windows, open Settings → Network → Mobile hotspot and make sure it's allowed. Some company laptops block this.
Token says 'invalid'
You probably copied an extra space. Click the copy button on this page (don't select by hand) and paste again.
Click below to get your credentials and the installer.
