Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what EZLINK Network ("EZLINK", "we") collects when you use our app, website, captive portal, or any participating node.
1. What We Collect
- Account info: name, email, phone (when you sign up).
- Pass & session data: which node you connected to, when, how much data you used, and the outcome of the session. Used to bill correctly and handle refunds.
- Device identifiers: MAC address and trusted-device fingerprint, so the same pass works across reconnects without re-authentication.
- Node telemetry (for operators): uptime, throughput, signal quality, client counts. Used to keep the network healthy.
2. What We Don't Collect
We do not inspect the content of your traffic. Node operators cannot see what sites you visit or read your Wi-Fi password — those are scoped to the device and the EZLINK backend.
3. How We Use Data
To operate the service: authenticate sessions, bill passes, settle host payouts, detect fraud and misreporting nodes, and improve product reliability. We do not sell personal data.
4. Sharing
We share only what's necessary with our infrastructure providers (auth, database, email, SMS), and with law enforcement when required by a valid legal order.
5. Your Rights
You can request export or deletion of your account data by emailing privacy@ezlinkapp.net. We'll respond within 30 days.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-Level Security policies prevent users from seeing other users' data. We follow the principle of least privilege for staff and automation access.
7. Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll announce it in-app or by email before the change takes effect.
